All EU organisations with 50+ employees, must comply with the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive. This regulation sets up mandated reporting procedures that allow employees and the public to report knowledge of wrong-doing.

 

We offer a free and compliant web-portal that is hosted on a secure data server in Germany. We are 100% complaint with the EU Whistleblower Directive and GDPR. 

 

We are a simple yet disruptive solution, saving you thousands in unnecessary compliance software.

 

Trusty is a web portal, consisting of a public front-end and a back-end case management tool.

 

The front-end is intended for reporting persons and leads them through a simple reporting process.  It also includes access to a reporting person’s individual inbox, which may be used for further secure communication between the company and the reporting person, if he or she would like to remain anonymous.

 

The case management tool is an intuitive dashboard intended for internal use by your designated responder.

Trusty is installed on a virtual server, in a high-security data centre in Germany, certified to the ISO 27001 standard and provided by Hetzner Online GmbH.

Our front-end is available in Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish,  Swedish and Slovak. Users can change the language with one click.

 

The case management tool is presently available in English, Spanish and German. 

Shortly after sign-up, we’ll send you your whistleblowing channel link and login credentials. If you haven’t received an email from us within a few days, please check your spam folder and contact us.

 
At your first login, you will be required to change your password. You will login to the back-end Case Management Tool from this same web address.

Yes, we really are free. And yes, many companies are charging thousands of Euros for exactly these same whistleblower hotline functionalities. Our freemium model means that our Trusty+ subscribers cover the operating costs for the Trusty Free subscribers. 

 

We decided to offer a free whistleblowing channel as soon as we realised that a web-based portal could be an effective solution for compliance with the EU Directive. Most SMEs will only have a few reports per decade, if that. We don’t need to charge your business thousands for software it will rarely use. 

 

So we aren’t charging you. If you are a small enterprise, we recommend our 0€ Trusty plan. For larger enterprises, which expect multiple reports per year, we have great plans with additional helpful features.

 

Are you already paying for your whistleblower hotline? We will gladly help you switch to our free solution.

 

No. There are no set-up fees, subscription fees, termination fees, small text hidden fees, nor any other fees. We really are free when others are charging hundreds per month.

 

Why? Because we believe that 1) everyone benefits from clear and effective reporting procedures, and 2) that over-charging small businesses is lame. 

 

We are compliance professionals who have been developing this platform together for six years. Personally and professionally, we have witnessed damage to the public, organisations and whistleblowers when there are no clear reporting procedures.

 

Far too often, the public pays the heaviest price. But reputations and jobs are also at risk in this time of heightened cyber security threats.
